AI-assisted scan-to-BIM: automation strategies for complex heritage data

Historic existing buildings pose a challenge for BIM modelling: complex geometries have, until now, required a great deal of manual work. This presentation outlines an innovative approach in which modern AI models analyse point clouds in a structured manner and transfer data directly into CAD via a server interface.
