OKM 3D ground scanners precisely locate buried objects, structures and voids – before excavation begins. All our detectors are equipped with EMSR technology: multiple sensors simultaneously measure anomalies in the Earth's magnetic field caused by metallic objects, mineral structures or underground voids. Using this method, our detectors reach depths of up to 25 metres.

The measurement data is processed by the included Visualizer 3D Studio software into a colour-coded 3D map that identifies the position of potential target objects. Users can also draw conclusions about depth and size from the scan data, plan their excavation with precision, and document their surveys comprehensively – providing a solid foundation for non-invasive prospection in archaeology and heritage conservation.
