Particular attention is paid to the management of hazardous substances in art and cultural heritage. Dr Elise Spiegel from Care for Art presents the DBU-funded MUSA project, which enables digital hazardous substance management for museums, libraries and archives. The system combines sampling and laboratory analysis with digital evaluation and helps institutions to identify health risks and devise appropriate protective measures.
