An app designed to provide information on the energy-efficient refurbishment of buildings.

The construction transition and tackling climate change can only succeed if we all pull together. This also means that those involved in construction need to have a sound understanding of building practices. The BauWende.App helps users understand the key relationships, assists with an initial assessment of insulation thicknesses and recommends materials. The presentation describes the process from the initial idea through to the app’s implementation. The prototype is being presented to the general public here for the first time.
