Building Research 2go: the heritage conservation plan as a tool

1:00 PM - 1:30 PM Thu, 05 Nov

Short description

The heritage management plan is a new tool that can simplify and improve communication on heritage construction sites.

Description

Historical building research generally results in building age plans, which use colour to represent the different chronological layers of the structure. For practical purposes, however, building age plans are often too complex or too vague to serve as a practical guide. This is where the heritage conservation plan comes into play: it sets out the heritage conservation guidelines for further planning and serves as an easily understandable communication tool for everyone involved in the heritage site.
