Engaging with historical building research

Historical building research and planning have long worked closely together – and are increasingly doing so digitally. This event explores the added value of digital building surveys and examines when analogue methods remain appropriate. The VDL will present guidance on quality assurance and the efficient recording of architectural heritage findings. The Federal Chamber of Architects will present its guide ‘Digitalisation and Renovation’, supplemented by case studies from the fields of architecture and structural engineering.
