Nora Ruland

Vita

Nora Ruland studied art history, French and heritage conservation. Her enthusiasm for the field of heritage conservation has been with her since the start of her studies and has been deepened by a wide range of practical experience: work placements with the local heritage conservation authority, at a plastering firm, with a restorer specialising in gilding and paintings, three months in northern India with an NGO dedicated to the preservation of Tibetan architecture, and at the State Office for Heritage Conservation. She subsequently completed a traineeship and worked as a consultant at the State Office for the Preservation of Historic Monuments. Today, she is a consultant at Denkmalnetz Sachsen. Her aim is to inspire people to take an interest in the broad field of heritage conservation and to share her knowledge.
