A narrow aluminum frame supports the pane from the inside, while the shading, mounted on the window sash, remains equally discreet; tiles or Eternit panels fully cover the awning box.

In one project, the roof covered with traditional beaver-tail tiles permitted only narrow roof windows according to current building regulations. However, the client envisioned a larger opening. s: stebler responded by designing a slim external window profile with an integrated tile section that, despite its narrow appearance, opens seamlessly and continuously as a single large window unit.
