Mould-free insulation using natural wood fibre

One of the most important is that wood fibres naturally regulate humidity. Condensation is absorbed and, thanks to the rapid drying properties of the insulation boards, is either released back into the indoor air or transported outwards by capillary action. The walls remain vapour-permeable and breathable. This means that mould – one of the biggest housing problems of our time – doesn’t stand a chance.

Our concise 30-minute presentation will focus in particular on the UdiIN RECO wood fibre internal insulation system, which is characterised by its straightforward installation and can level out uneven brick walls with a difference of up to +/- 2 cm without the need for adhesive (the greater the insulation thickness, the greater the leeway). This is backed up by a realistic, practical research study conducted in Quedlinburg , drawing on over 20 years of experience in collaboration with TU Dresden.
