Historic plaster with a modern character: maxit ip 360 with goose feathers is a traditional air-lime plaster that has been in use for centuries. Today, it is primarily used in organic and eco-friendly house building, as well as in demanding restoration projects for listed buildings.
Bound with air lime, the cement-free maxit ip 360 possesses all the ideal properties for an interior plaster. It creates an excellent indoor climate, is highly vapour-permeable and, thanks to its natural alkalinity, prevents mould. Goose feathers, which are added to the plaster, increase its tensile strength and minimise the risk of cracking.
As the composition of maxit ip 360 is so closely based on the historical formula, there are a few specific points to bear in mind during application: Traditional lime plaster sets slowly and is highly dependent on climatic conditions. Furthermore, regular re-moistening is required during the first few days.
