Restoring walls affected by damp and salt and insulating them – until now, this has required several steps and different products. The new maxit san Vario restoration plaster can do both, making it the solution to two completely different challenges in the field of façade and interior restoration and repair.
Firstly, maxit san Vario is a restoration plaster compliant with WTA standards – it binds salts and ensures a dry surface. Secondly, thanks to its composition (hollow glass microspheres), the product possesses thermal insulation properties. Its thermal conductivity T1 (< 0.1 W/(mK)) in accordance with DIN EN 998-1 allows for an increase in the surface temperature indoors, as well as the harmonisation of thermal insulation in the plinth area outdoors without the use of board materials.
‘san Vario’ kills two birds with one stone by combining two labour-intensive processes in building renovation into a single step. This reduces the risk of damage and saves time.
