Nanorestore® – innovation in surface cleaning

The restoration of surfaces requires a careful approach using cleaning agents to ensure the object is not damaged. Nanorestore® products, which have been specially developed using nanotechnology for surface cleaning, enable the reliable treatment of various materials in restoration and conservation.

With the aim of continually developing new methods and materials for the preservation of cultural heritage, the inter-university consortium CSGI (Consorzio per lo Sviluppo dei Sistemi a Grande Interfase) was founded in Florence. Working closely with restorers and conservators, the innovative Nanorestore® products were thus developed.
