The HolzBauForschungsZentrum Leipzig (HBFZ) is a building technology-oriented real laboratory currently being established at the HTWK Leipzig. It focuses on the development of open concepts for individualized, automated production processes for large-format, highly integrated timber construction elements. The methodological and conceptual basis is formed by end-to-end digital information chains in order to consistently and consistently link design, planning, calculation, prefabrication, logistics and assembly.
