The panel explores how the European Heritage Volunteers Programme helps participants develop practical skills in heritage work, contributing to their professional growth. Drawing on their own experiences, the panellists reflect on how hands-on work, learning alongside experienced practitioners and interdiciplinary exchange have contributed to their professional career development. The discussion considers how non-formal education can connect academic study with heritage practice, build confidence and open up new professional opportunities.
