Damp cellars are a common form of structural damage, particularly in older and listed buildings. This specialist presentation examines the causes and remediation methods, including horizontal damp-proof courses, internal waterproofing systems and specialised surface coatings. The presentation is aimed at architects, planners, surveyors, tradespeople, local authorities and owners of historic buildings, and offers practical insights into sustainable cellar remediation.
