How can we successfully develop a concrete vision for an endangered listed building within a very short space of time? At the 2026 Heritage Hackathon, experts from various disciplines will work alongside trade fair visitors on a real listed building. Over the course of two days at the fair, different perspectives will be brought together and concrete approaches to use, planning, funding and implementation will be developed. The hackathon is deliberately designed as an open workshop format: anyone interested can join in at any time, contribute their knowledge and ideas, and work on the project alongside the participating experts. On Saturday, the results will be presented and discussed together.
