Program Items

12:15 PM - 1:15 PM SAT 07. NOVEMBER
Digital and community-based projects run by the Saxony Heritage Network: Denkmalradar, Denkmalbörse, Bauteilbörse and BauTeilHütte kommunal

The Saxony Heritage Network sees itself as a platform for advice, networking and further training relating to Saxony’s architectural heritage. With the ‘Denkmalradar’, it is developing a digital platform that provides information, highlights inspiring concepts and draws attention to endangered heritage sites. Through the ‘Denkmalbörse’, listed buildings are matched with potential owners, opening up new prospects for their preservation. Another key focus is the digital ‘Bauteilbörse’, which specifically matches historical building components, connects stakeholders and is intended to serve as an infrastructure for reuse. Through the ‘BauTeilHütte kommunal’ project, this approach is being tested and further developed in collaboration with the University of Bamberg, using a model region as a basis.
