Ing. Philipp Hesse

Vita

Philipp Hesse is a German architect based in Denmark, working across both Germany and Denmark. He is the founder of HEJ arkitekter, established in 2018, and from 2021 to 2024 taught building documentation and historic building construction at Erfurt University of Applied Sciences. Hesse is a board member of ICOMOS Denmark and a member of ICOMOS Germany. He serves as Secretary General of the International Scientific Committee ISCES and is a member of ICORP. On behalf of ICOMOS, he is also involved in the European research project FuturHist. He is Chairman of the association Halbes Schloss Langenleuba-Niederhain and Deputy Chairman of the association representing privately owned castles, manor houses, and estates in Thuringia. Since 2023, he has also been a member of Encounter.
